Canada-Japan Workshop on Hybrid Quantum Systems (HQS)
ABOUT
This “by invitation only” workshop will bring together a number of Canadian and Japanese scientists to discuss the current status, and future directions of hybrid quantum systems (HQS), enabling the development of future quantum technologies. The workshop will be held at the University of Ottawa and run by the Japanese program on Hybrid Quantum Systems headed by Prof. Hirayama of Tohoku University (http://hybridqs.org/en/) , the NRC Quantum Physics Group (G. Austing) and uOttawa Chair in Quantum Theory of Materials, Nanostructures and Devices (P.Hawrylak). If you are interested in the workshop please contact one of the organizers.

Registration for participants is $200 , for students $100 (note 13% tax not included). Please register here-english or here-french.
ACCOMODATIONS
Networking at the HQS workshop
Following the spirit of collaboration brought by the HQS workshop, the badges come with barcodes associated with participants’ emails. This barcode can be read with a QR reader (easy to find on phones app stores) that allows the scanning of barcodes. Allowing other participants to scan your barcode, will make it easy to share your email. Some apps will even allow you to send an email directly to the scanned colleague.You can test your QR reader by scanning the barcode below.
